[IMPORTANT]
A brief explanation of this video's purpose, in case you don't know, is, I have been planning to be a bit more multi-fandom in this channel, making similar style content but with other games and this is a bit of a love letter to the main community that made my channel what it is so far, and since I've built a bit of a story around these guys, I didn't want to just move on without a bit of closure on it. I know it comes as a bit disappointing, but for the foreseeable future, the next FNF fight, coming after this video, will be my last. I would've hoped to do more, and involve more familiar faces in BF fights while the community was more alive, but everything has to change at some point... I mean this kinda sounds sad when it's actually more of a good thing that I'm still planning on doing bigger and better stuff anyways lol.

[EXTRA LORE DUMP/ VIDEO EXPLAINED]
So, obviously this will contain [SPOILERS] for what happens in the video, so if you haven't watched it yet, do so then come back, and then this stuff will make more sense:
Corruption:
As shown in the video, Corruption is a parasite that was created by Monster and forced upon BF, now living in BF, altering his personality/behaviour, giving him supernatural powers, and using him as a vessel to carry out its plan to control all of fiction itself, by slowly working up the ranks, and fighting and cursing the strongest characters BF can get, which can allow them to create an army, a hivemind with the single goal of destruction and control. Corruption literally messes with the code of the game it's in, so it's very self aware and 4th wall breaking. Corruption itself is very weak which is partially why it avoids coming out to fight by itself, and needs a confident, determined vessel to take the blows.
Echo:
How the Echo ability works in full, is, whenever BF touches, gets hit, dodges, blocks or parries an ability, the game registers that BF interacted with said ability. Corruption finds the code of the ability, copies it, and adds it/ overwrites BF's code with it. Which allows him to use it. Same thing with forms. BF can not use multiple forms at once, when he picks up a new form he overwrites his previous one, meaning that it's gone until BF is able to echo the form from the previous opponent again, (So, very similar to how Kirby works, yes). Emphasis on supernatural abilities only. BF can't echo a normal human since he is one, but he could echo a supernaturally strong human like Captain America, but he wouldn't be able to echo his shield, since that's an item, not an ability. But if Cap for, some reason, could make shields out of thin air, then BF could echo that ability of shield making lol.
The Curse:
As the video shows, the curse is an almost undetectable effect put on characters that lose a physical fight to Echo BF (rap battles don't count). Their code, as well as the abilities that BF was able to copy, is bottled into a closed database ready to be used against them. The most effective way of breaking the curse is fighting BF again, and winning. But most characters wont know their cursed anyway, they'd have to be experts in curses and effects to be able to detect it, let alone remove it without fighting. When "Unleashed" the curse it overwrites the code of every cursed entity immediately, corrupting them, giving them ONLY the forms and moves that BF echoed. Even if a character is powerful, if BF beats them in a fight without echoing any abilities or forms, then they are completely useless (the main reason BF chooses to fight the strongest characters alone more often than as a team.) The curse once unleashed is completely unbreakable, like the cursed characters are completely gone at that point, and the "Unleashed" tool is a one time use so when it's pressed, there's no turning back, the secret is revealed, the war must start, and other characters can't be corrupted unless Monster does it himself.
