[New 2025 ABC News Theme] ABC (Australia) News Theme Refresh - Short Music Only
Following the 2024 ABC News Refresh, another update to the ABC Australia News Theme was launched on Monday 28 July 2025 without much fanfare, adding more orchestra and base.
The 2025 ABC (Australia) News Theme is a remix of the 2024 theme which in turn was based on the1986 theme composed by Tony Ansell and Peter Wall. It was rearranged and remixed by David McDonald.
