When Does A Year Begin? What Does The Bible Say?
The Bible says, in Exodus 12:1-2, the beginning of the year is in the Spring -the month of the Passover.
In 1582, Pope Gregory’s calendar reform restored January 1 as New Year’s day. The Roman Gregorian calendar is still in use today and it begins the new year in the winter.
