"Heavy Psych Sounds" is the name of the label that has released this unique split, and around this genre turned the whole composition of our 15 minute piece.
Our visions and interpretation of what heavy psych is led us to write "The Choice", something completely different from what we’ve done before.
In addition to the musical research we developed with the intake of particular instruments such us the hurdy-gurdy (masterfully played by our friend Matteo Dorigo), we tried to explore the concept of psych from another point of view.
The samples that you find in this track are extracted from the sermons of the American preacher James Warren Jones, also known as Jim Jones, founder and leader of the religious community of the Peoples Temple, who led 909 members of his congregation, including children and infants, to a mass suicide, at Jonestown in 1978.
