Terrain Analysis using ArcGIS from DEM data
This video tutorial is to show you how to create a slope, aspect, hillshade, and contour lines from DEM data using ArcGIS software.
Slope: the rise and fall of the terrain surface, also known as the inclination or gradient of terrain surfaces.
Aspect: the direction that the slope faces.
Hillshade: the 3D representation of the terrain surface.
Contour line: connect terrain surfaces that share the same elevation.
