Tail of The Dragon US129 - Lotus Elise
I was very fortunate enough to get to know this gentleman who is a frequent visitor to the Tail. His Lotus Elise is the perfect weapon for the 318 curves along the 11 mile stretch of road, famous for not only the views along the path but in some circles - its drivers. This fellow is one of them and we had a chance to go for a spin after Deals Gap Rotary Rally.
We only had time to do a short run, the last 1/3 of the return path back to Fontana Dam.
I have not named the driver for privacy reasons.
