How to Logout of Fortnite (PS5, PS4, Xbox, Switch 2, PC)
In this video, I’ll show you how to log out of your Fortnite account across all platforms including PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC. This step-by-step guide walks you through the in-game settings menu so you can safely sign out of your current account and prepare to switch to another one. It’s a simple process, but it’s important to follow each step to make sure the logout is successful.
I’ll walk you through navigating the Fortnite settings by selecting the gear icon in the top-right corner of the main menu. From there, you'll scroll over to the “Account and Privacy” tab, where you'll find the option to log out. Once you select this, you’ll be signed out of Fortnite, allowing you to log into a different account right after.
Keep in mind that some consoles may automatically log you back into the original account when restarted, especially if your Epic Games account is linked. So be sure to unlink accounts if needed or log in carefully each time.
