In this course, we will review a gentle introduction to microcontroller architecture and programming (microcontrollers are small and very low-cost dedicated computers that are easy to program). We will also discuss microcontroller applications such as the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), and other topics, including how to use microcontrollers in the COVID-19 pandemic. You will learn valuable skills such as digital electronics, microcontroller and sensor interfacing and operations, online computer simulations, and more.

This video is an early prototype that shows a 20-second timer and messages on an LCD screen. The counting is activated by swiping on top of the LCD display.

We will make a similar prototype in this course. To learn more or to register, visit: https://www.algomau.ca/course-schedules/
