How to Connect Notion and Use iCloud Shortcuts
Connect Your Notion Account
When using it for the first time, click the *Login* button in the top-right corner of the page to sign in and authorize your Notion account.
Once connected, you can select your Notion workspace from the *Workspace* dropdown list.
Add iCloud Shortcuts
On the *Shortcut Management* page, click the *iCloud Shortcuts* button at the top to open iCloud and add the shortcut to your Shortcuts app.
Click the *Tutorial* button in the top-right corner of the same page to open this guide.
Set Up Workspace, Database, and Fields
Choose your Notion workspace and database from the page.
Check the fields you want to sync and optionally customize their icons.
Keep Shortcut Names Consistent
The following three names **must match exactly**, otherwise synchronization will fail:
The *Shortcut Name* set on the webpage
The *`NAME` variable* inside the shortcut
The *name of the shortcut* added to your Shortcuts app
Make sure all three names are identical for smooth syncing.
Add and Sync New Records
On the Shortcut Management page, click *Open Shortcut on Device* under “Add New Record.”
This will automatically trigger the iCloud Shortcut, allowing you to sync data across devices and write directly to Notion.
