We will go through the basic setup step by step, including downloading the Linux ISO, creating the virtual machine, setting memory and storage, starting the installer, and getting Linux running for the first time.
This is a great first step if you want to learn Linux, practice command line basics, study for IT certifications, or start building real tech skills in a safe environment.
What you need:
A Windows PC or laptop
VirtualBox or VMware
Ubuntu Linux ISO
At least 4 GB RAM for the VM
25–40 GB free disk space
