Remember when France fought a war in Vietnam for 8 years? No? Well, here's a gameplay montage to catch you up to speed. French colonial forces fought against the Viet Minh, a communist insurgent group intent on kicking France out of Vietnam, until a catastrophic battle in 1954 forced them to withdraw from the country.
