Example of what we can do with the Element 3D plugin from Video Copilot(https://www.videocopilot.net/). This 3d Animation was created using the Element 3d plugin for After Effects. Element 3D is a particle-based After Effects plug-in that uses on OpenGL. Video Copilot's Andrew Kramer developed this plugin. Element 3D lets you create genuine 3D models or you can import obj models from many different providers. Element 3d renders and composites at a very high quality and unmatched speed.
With Element 3D you can turn text and masks into 3D objects with a multitude of animation options. You can use any textures you have to give your different looks. Complicated bevels and layers are easy to create. Then you can bend and deform your objects. Element 3D can create scenes that rival studio logo openers.
If you’re not sure what look you are going for, be sure to check out the preset looks and Element 3D will do all the work for you.
For a logo with shapes, you can use masks in After Effects and extruding them in Element 3D.
You can create also basic objects such as spheres, layers, tubes, cones, capsules, or cubes. Element 3D plug-in also comes with some 3D models and Video Copilot offers more for sale in packages.
