In this video, Evervault Engineer Deirdre Cleary will show you how to use the Evervault Node.js SDK to encrypt a string of data and pass the data into a serverless function, which will count the number of characters in the string.
In the demo, you will see that the data stays encrypted within the application: any encrypted data passed to a Function is decrypted by the Function’s runtime. Functions also support network requests to third-party APIs, for instance, where your data needs to be manipulated before or after being shared. They can be written as shown here in Node.js or in Python.
