Alan Wake 2. End of the Game Showcase
Completing Alan Wake 2 for the first time was mentally exhausting. What I though was going to be an 18-20 hour game clocked in at nearly 40! Early on I don't mind admitting I was getting hopelessly lost in the subway with wtf I was supposed to be doing. Changing the light source but not knowing if I should be backtracking was the main issue. I had to look up some Youtube help at that point.
Once the subway section was over something clicked and I found myself able to solve all puzzles, light source switch events etc all by mysef even if it took a while.. and boy did the game take a while! Mostly because I didn't rush. 88% trophy completion after one run probably shows I didn't rush. I wanted to take in the world and explore the art... and find as much ammo and health as possible!
When the final credits really were the final credits I said to myself "Never Again" but now I feel the DLC calling me and maybe even a 2nd playthrough with weapons upgraded and that tease of being able to rush to my hearts content. We'll see I guess.

PS: dear Remedy devs,
Please never force us to fill in a crime board in your games ever again. Horrible, clunky mechanic. I resented it so much towards the end even though I know your intentions were good.
