Indesit Refrigerator Not Freezing / Replacing the Suction Tube and Evaporator
My Indesit refrigerator isn't freezing. I need to replace the suction tube and evaporator.
I sent this refrigerator in for repair. It was leaking on the low side. I couldn't find the leak right away, so I had to open the evaporator. The leak was soon found.
We replaced the evaporator with a copper one (it turned out to be a bit of a hack job, since my pipe bender had fallen apart).
Then we reassembled everything in reverse order and refilled.
There was also a little freon left in the tank, so I had to equalize the pressure in the end, since the tank wouldn't fit on the scale.
