Gimbal Panorama Landscape Photography Technique
An extension to my previous video explaining some of the methods used in that video to answer some of your questions and an additional technique using a tripod mounted gimbal. Although not absolutely essential for this type of photographic technique it does help when there are close to foreground objects.
Since I filmed the episode with the iPhone 8 I also included a panorama shot with the iPhone 10 using the 58mm EFL lens. Although this looks very similar to the M4/3 image there is a vastly increased image size for the M4/3 image allowing the creation of larger prints, if necessary.
The M4/3 image is 12808 x 6765 and the iPhone image is 6668 x 3751.
