Short Sale Practice of Law Without a License
Happy Halloween! OK, this is going to be
my scariest Monday Download EVER!!
Seriously, real estate agents are screwing
short sales up in more ways than just not
getting them closed. They are closing
them and practicing law without a license
at the same time.
Now that is SCARY!!
That is a big fat lawsuit for you, your team,
and your broker
Practicing law without a license will get
you into the Penn State you did not
want to get into. (as in the state
penitentiary)
You already know that two weeks ago that
Jessica and I were at the Washington
EdCon conference. Well, it was probably
the most predominant subject of the
conference.
Why havent I brought it up before now???
Because I have been hard at work for the
last two weeks trying to pin down exactly
what was going on in our industry and
what Alliance could do to make sure none
of our insider network got in any trouble.
I am going to touch on some things in this
weeks video that you can do now to make
sure you are not crossing the legal line.
However, make sure you are on our next
strategy call. (November 4, 2009)
On that call we will announce some
extremely important changes we, at
Alliance, will be making that will create an
added layer of protection for all of us in
this highly litigious world of short sales.
You are going to be really glad we are
negotiating your short sales. Make sure
you block the afternoon of Wednesday
November 4th out on your calendar. You
are going to want to be on this call so you
can ask questions. Listening to it after
the fact is not going to be the same.

right now because we are still finalizing
all of the details and changes.
