Here's a rainy train trip from Lisbon to Sintra, a tony playground for Portugal's good and great.
Hats off to @TheTimTraveller and @JagoHazzard for the slightly snarky narrative style that inspired my blurb. However, unlike those fine folks, my research was minimal - and it will probably stay that way (there I go again)
