€1,217,900 is what Max Verstappen will pay to simply compete in the 2024 Formula 1 season.
This is his super license renewal fee.
A super license is the highest kind of racing license you can get, and every F1 driver must have one.
The renewal fee consists of a fixed €10,400 base figure and €2,100 for every point scored in the season that has just passed.
This means that whilst Logan Sargent scored 1 point and will pay a total of € 12,500, Max Verstappen who scored 575 points more points than Perez and Hamilton in P2 and P3 combined will pay a whopping €1,217,900 to the FIA.
But does Red Bull pay this amount or does Max shell out the cash from his 70 million dollar a year pay check?
