Windows 11 Upgrade (Beta Release) - Windows Insider Program
Microsoft released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build on 19th Aug. Here is my experience of the upgrade process by signing up to the Windows Insider Program & installing it on my Microsoft Surface Laptop 4. I opted for 'Beta' (Recommended) release for my upgrade as it is more stable than the Dev.
You can understand the time it took me to download, install and the disk space which was occupied in the entire process. My laptop was earlier on Windows 10 Home (21H1 - OS Build - 19043.1165) and after the upgrade process is on Windows 11 Home (21H2 - OS Build - 22000.160)
Download - 6 GB
Installation - 9 GB
Overall - 15 GB down from original disk space.
