Amazon is Introducing Remote Fulfillment with FBA - Sell on Amazon's North America Marketplaces - to Canada and Mexico with inventory located at US Amazon FBA. Amazon's North America Remote Fulfillment (NARF) program allows Sellers to display their U.S. FBA inventory across both country-specific Amazon sites for Canada and Mexico (Amazon.ca and Amazon.com.mx, respectively). “NARF is a U.S.-based inventory expander,” explained George Hatch, Pattern’s Director of Marketplaces. “It allows a brand to make their US inventory available for sale in Canada and Mexico without the complexity of needing to handle shipping goods directly into either Mexico or Canada.”

Amazon has recently released a new program to make selling products across North America seamless. This new program is called North America Remote Fulfillment with FBA. We think this would be a great opportunity to break into international markets and would like to get this set up for you.
Remote Fulfillment with FBA lets you sell to customers in Canada and Mexico without having to send inventory to those countries. When you enroll in the program and create offers on Amazon.ca and Amazon.com.mx, Fulfillment by Amazon will use your inventory in US fulfillment centers to fulfill orders across the border directly to the customer, through Amazon Services LLC.
Customers pay import duties on the items they order, taking ownership of the items after the shipping company picks them up from the US fulfillment center. Returns go directly back to the US and are subject to the FBA customer returns policy.

Some items are prohibited from sale across borders such as most consumable and topical products.
Amazon will automatically calculate the currency changes, though we are seeing them mark the products up a little high so after we launch we recommend you review the pricing to your comfort level.
The Mexican listings titles will auto transfer to Spanish. If sales occur we will spend time optimizing them further.
We also recommend turning on advertising for items we load to Canada using USA FBA stock.
