HDFC Mutual Fund is one of India’s top fund houses in terms of managing public money. Historically, it was known for its value investing style. However, over the last 2-3 years, organizational changes have led to a shift from a pure value approach to a more diversified investment style.
Previously, most funds were managed by a single fund manager, Mr. Prashant Jain. Now, portfolios are handled by multiple senior fund managers, bringing diversity in both portfolios and management styles.
When asked about this shift, Chirag explained, "We don’t want to sail together and sink together."
