Modicon 172 Embedded Display Training - M3.1 Global and Local Variables
The Modicon M172 has the possibility to have an embedded display (Reference like TM172*D****).
The embedded display is monochromatic and allow us to control and monitor the variables on the PLC.
We can also use the same/different design to the TM172DGRP (Remote Monochromatic Display):

The software to program the Modicon M172 is EcoStruxure Machine Expert HVAC (former SoMachine HVAC).

The EcoStruxure Machine Expert HVAC is free but the user will need to register the software.

In order to program the Modicon M172 you will require a miniUSB cable (TCSXCNAMUM3P or BMXXCAUSBH018) or if you are using the M172P an ethernet cable.
