YouTube star Adam the Woo has passed away at the age of 51.
Adam, whose real name was David Adam Williams, was found dead in his home in Celebration, Florida, on Monday, December 22, 2025.
According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were first dispatched to Williams’ residence around 12:24 p.m. for a welfare check after concerns were raised. Although the home was secured, deputies were unable to make contact with the adult male inside.
Later that afternoon, around 2:53 p.m., authorities returned to the residence following a report of an unattended death. Investigators say a concerned friend, who had last seen Adam the day before, borrowed a ladder and looked through a third-story window, where he saw Williams lying motionless on a bed.
Deputies entered the home alongside Fire Rescue personnel, and Adam the Woo was pronounced dead at the scene. The medical examiner has since taken custody of the case and will conduct an autopsy to determine the official cause of death. Authorities also confirmed that Adam’s father, who lives locally, has been notified.
Williams began his YouTube journey in 2009, later launching his most famous channel, “The Daily Woo,” in 2012. He became known for posting a vlog every single day for five consecutive years, eventually traveling and filming content in all 50 U.S. states.
His videos chronicled visits to theme parks, roadside attractions, haunted locations, small towns, and pop-culture landmarks, earning him a massive and loyal following. A well-known Disney enthusiast, Adam frequently visited Disneyland and Walt Disney World, and also explored historic Disney-related sites, including Laugh-O-Gram Studios and Union Station in Kansas City, Missouri.
Adam the Woo’s final YouTube upload was published on Saturday, December 21, 2025, just one day before his death. Titled “The Grinch Takes Over Celebration Florida,” the video featured Adam strolling through his hometown, showcasing Christmas decorations and interacting with a Grinch character amid festive lights and holiday crowds.
Adam the Woo is survived by his parents, Jim and June Williams, and his sister, Faith.
