Follow these instructions to create a channel that only you can manage with your Google account.
1. Sign in to YouTube on a computer or mobile website.
2. Click your profile picture, then click your channel.

How to Create a channel with a company or other name ?
Follow these instructions to create a channel that can have more than one manager or owner.

3. Choose whether to create a new channel or use an existing branded account:

✅ Minimum width: 2048 x 1152 px. This is the "safe zone" where text and logos are guaranteed not to be cut off when viewed on different devices.
✅ Maximum width: 2560 x 423 px. This means that the "safe zone" is always visible; The areas on both sides of the channel layout are visible depending on the size of the viewer's browser.

How to add your channel icon (profile picture) ?
Each channel also offers space for an icon / profile picture. This is the icon that will appear next to your videos and your channel on all YouTube pages. The key here is to pick something that looks good in very small resolutions. Many brands use their logo here.
Your channel icon must be 800 x 800 pixels and one of the following formats: JPG, GIF, BMP, or PNG file (not an animated GIF).
