Ingredients for carnitas
7lb of boneless pork roast (honestly do less if you can this barely fits in my Instant Pot)
garlic
salt
black pepper
oil
cumin
oregano
red pepper
paprika
1 cup water (you can optionally use chicken stock)
Recipe
1) Cut up the pork into at least 4 or more chunks
2) Turn on Instant Pot or your pressure cooker to sauté then add oi after heated up
3) add meat & seasonings then stir around the best you can
4) cancel the sauté, add the water in, and put the lid on
5) cook on high pressure for 50min
6) remove from pressure cooker and shred then put onto a tray after pulling it with forks
7) Add 1/2 cup of the pork broth from the instant pot onto the tray
8) Put oven with broiler on high then bake for 5-20min or however long it takes for it to look right. My oven is slower
9) Halfway through rotate the tray in the oven
