In this video, I will show you how to set up and map a controller in Retro Arch on your computer. First, you want to go to the default main menu. From here, go to the settings tab.
Then, choose the “input option”. Select RetroBinds Pad and choose Port 1 controller. Retroarch will automatically detect your controller under the “device index” option. In my case, its the PS 4 controller.
Now, scroll down and you will be able to change the button configuration options by clicking on a specific button you would like to customize. Click on it and you are given 3 seconds to change the button on your controller. If you made a mistake, you can scroll up and select “reset to default controls” and it will default back to the original settings. Also, clicking on “set all controls” will go through all available buttons and you can customize each one faster.
Once you are happy with the changes, you can go ahead and “save controller profile”. Now you can play your game with the customized settings. Thanks for watching!
