Today I'm trying out two new Aqara devices that are truly surprising me for their quality, compatibility, and price: the G410 smart video doorbell and the G100 camera.
The G410 is a super-versatile intercom that operates both battery-powered and wired. It features a 2K camera, motion radar, facial recognition, and compatibility with Apple HomeKit, Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings, Thread, and Matter. It can also be used to automate certain functions using your voice and the built-in artificial intelligence, which recognizes who's at the door.
I also tested the Aqara G100, an affordable yet complete camera suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, with night vision, two-way audio, and the ability to record locally, to a NAS on a microSD card, or in the cloud. Both devices integrate seamlessly into the Aqara ecosystem and offer a wealth of smart home automation options.
