There can be many reasons why we can't view a website. Sometimes the problem lies with the site itself, and there's little we can do other than wait for the right person to fix it. Other times, the problem may lie with the client making the request—that is, us. Let's look at some simple, basic checks we can perform ourselves to understand why the website we want to visit is unreachable.
