In this week's new episode of Insecurity in Focus, I welcomed Carla Banietti, a postgraduate in Public Security, a volunteer with the Military Police, and a Pilates instructor, to talk about the insecurities that can arise when we want to start practicing Pilates.
Insecurity in Pilates affects both beginner students, who fear pain or falls on the equipment, and newly graduated instructors, who face the fear of not generating results or making mistakes in their conduct with real patients.
Carla Banietti is a physical education teacher, Pilates specialist, and active community leader in the West Zone of São Paulo. She works in several areas:
Neighborhood Solidarity: Coordinates and expands the Neighborhood Solidarity program, working voluntarily with the São Paulo Military Police. Holds a specialization in Public Security Management from the Center for Advanced Security Studies (CAES);
Professional Experience in Health and Wellness: Graduated in Physical Education, she has worked for years as a specialist in personalized training and has a strong affinity with the Pilates method. She often collaborates with portals and brands in the segment, sharing exercise sequences and core strengthening techniques;
