How to install .run and .deb file in Linux ubuntu step by step

In this video we will learn how to install .deb and .run file in Linux ubuntu.
Steps for installing .deb file in Linux
Open terminal (Press ctrl + alt + t) or (search your application and run)
Navigate to the directory of .deb file
If you have your .deb file in your desktop then type the following command
In the terminal to get into desktop and press enter
cd ~/Desktop
3) Then type sudo dpkg –i filename.deb and press enter
Steps for installing .run file in Linux

Navigate to the directory of .run file
If you have your .run file in your desktop then type the following command
In the terminal to get into desktop and press enter
cd ~/Desktop
3) Then type chmod +x filename.run and press enter
4) Now type sudo ./filename.run and press enter and the installer will run
