How Much SQL Is Needed for Data Science? (10 Items)

In this video, I discuss the items in SQL that you should know in order to be a successful data scientist. They are roughly ordered from least to most advanced.
1. Basics (select, select distinct, from, where, order by -- including the operators and wildcards associated with the "where" clause)
2. Group by and summary functions (count, avg, sum, etc.)
3. Joins (inner join, left join, outer join, cross join)
4. Subqueries, temp tables, and CTEs
5. Case when and exists
6. Self joins
7. Stored procedures and user-defined functions (UDFs)
8. Window functions (examples: lead, lag, row_number)
9. Pivot and unpivot
10. Indexes (clustered and non-clustered)
