Livesearch was launched on May 6, 2006 by Yahoo at its AllTheWeb domain. It was an experiment in returning results in real time as you type, without the need to ever click the Search button or hit Enter. In fact, there is was no Search button. Livesearch was decommissioned in the fall of 2007 for unknown reasons.
