ss command is replacement for nestat command.
ss command gives more information in comparison to the netstat.
It is faster than netstat as it gets all information from kernal userspace.

EG:- $ss -ta: If you want to list connected as well as listening ports for TCP.
$ss -lt : Only listening ports for TCP.
