Choosing a tile layout: chaotic laying without experience
We're starting to prepare the base for tiling our house. For the first time in our lives, we're laying tiles ourselves! 🔨 First, we knocked off all the plaster and concrete residue from the screed, cleaned it, and primed it with acrylic primer.
After much deliberation, we decided on a random tile layout. This is an unconventional approach, where the tile joints can be random and uneven in size—the more variation, the better. But there are some nuances! The tiles are short, and this layout isn't easy.
