ASMR Watch Straps (soft speaking, tinkering, crinkles)
We're going to close the year with two of my favorite things: tinkering and musing (well, I guess we're taking a peek at the past at one point also, so all three topics on the title screen are covered. lol). I received a nice little automatic wristwatch for Christmas, the Seiko SNK805. I also received a brown leather watch strap to replace the green fabric strap that came with the watch. Please join me as I change out the strap on this watch, touching on a couple of topics along the way.
This watch is a bit smaller than the big chronographs I showed you in the "ASMR Watches" video, and I talk a bit about how watch sizes have trended larger over the years, and why I went with a more "classically" sized watch this time. Also, the dial on this watch is inspired directly by some rather influential German pilot watch designs, so I touch on that a bit as well.
