We finally have a solution to get that stubborn Ring Video Doorbell under HomeKit and under the Home app. Although it’s not an official solution from Ring, it’s a way for Ring device owners to control their devices under HomeKit. We’ll need to use HomeBridge for this to work and I go through an overview of how I got it working for my set-up. We’ll take a look at the plug-in that makes this all happen and see how it all comes together under HomeKit. I can finally ask, “Siri, who’s at my front door?”
