I will show how I replaced the outer CV joint boot (grenade) of a VAZ 2109 from A to Z by myself and how to do it myself, I will tell you all the nuances of such a repair of a front-wheel drive VAZ family car. This algorithm for repairing and replacing the CV joint boot is completely suitable for the entire segment of front-wheel drive VAZ cars, starting from the VAZ 2108, 2109, 21099 and their continuation, since the design of the units is similar.
The video is not educational, but a demonstration and explanatory one, since I am not a professional auto mechanic, but only sharing my experience in self-service and repair of my VAZ 2109 car.
To repair and replace the boot yourself, you will need a strong 30 head to unscrew the wheel hub nut, the boot itself with fresh CV joint grease, desire and free time.
