It's summer and the boys are on a road trip
Original music and animation...
This one has a summer feel. I was meant to release few months ago, but alas... Procrastination took over me.
Music was made when a friend of mine told me to write a summer style riff. I came up with the guitar riffs and chords for the song, it was also recorded in Eb Tuning. No vocals for this one 😔 (except for the first part).
As for the animation and art. I made the frames in Ibis Paint and animated it in an editing software called Kinemaster. Which is why you'll see some weird bugs and shenanigens.
I'm not sure where I got the idea to make it into a retro style. But I'm glad I did it. When it came to the characters. The animals riding the pink car are actually my real life pets (my mom wanted me to do it 👩). I added the background islands to make the background less empty to look at. Then for the character cameos, I originally wasn't planning them to be there, It was fun to make it but it extended the work for one whole week.
I feel like it needs some improvement like how the background looks janky. But this is my first time making a full length animation, maybe the first animation I ever made. So I think it's okay for now!
