Best overall hiking boot? We take a first look at the Irish Setter Pinnacles
If there is such a thing as a go-to, best overall hiking boot, my vote goes to an ankle-high, non-waterproof, sturdy hiker with a reasonably aggressive tread. That has been my standard for years, and such boots have served me well.
The Irish Setter Pinnacles fit my personal criteria and they show promise as incredible, do-everything footwear.
CORRECTION: The soles are not Vibram. My bad.
