How to enhance images in bulk | CaseGuard Studio
In today’s video, we will be going over the Image Enhancement features available in CaseGuard Studio.
There are 28 Enhancement Effects in CaseGuard Studio and these Enhancements can be used to help read license plates, identify tattoos, and see suspects in poorly lit images. Enhancement Effects can be used in conjunction with Manual Redaction and AI Automatic Redaction and can be applied to a single file or in Bulk.
Let’s create an Album of images in need of Enhancement.
Select the “Album” icon at the top of your Workspace.
Add your files and click “Next.”
Now you can name the Album and customize the Export location.
You can layer certain Enhancement Effects on your image files in order to make details, such as a blurry license plate number, clearer.
First, draw a box around the license plate and select Magnify from the list of Redaction and Enhancement Effects.
Then add the Sharpen Effect to improve the pixels in the selected area.
Next, layer on the Grey Scale Effect to make differentiating the license plate number easier.
Finally, add the Contrast Effect to brighten the selected area.
Using the Level Bar, you can increase and decrease the Enhancement Effect applied.
With these Enhancement Effects layered in the Manual Detection Panel, you can easily apply them to another license plate without having to reselect them.
If you need to Redact an object in the image, you can easily de-select the Enhancement Effects you have chosen, select a Redaction Effect, and use the Manual Redaction feature.
