In this video we are taking a look into the other algorithm that is used the least (along with the Tempophone Algorithm), the Speed Algorithm!

It is a great algorithm for sound design and I use it to extend notes that I have previously worked on and I know will produce ‘Happy accidents’
(Like I do on the video).
Even just changing the octaves of a note will influence the sound. Maybe it’ll give you a warmer sound instead of using a pitch shifter. The key is experimentation.
In this video, I go through what it does and then use the background I have created with the speed algorithm to build a horror soundscape around that that.

Everything that I am showing you here can be done with stock logic plug-ins. I just used the RC-20 for convenience because I can use multiple effects with just one plug-in.

NOTE: You may not be able to hear everything if you are listening from your phone or laptop speakers. Headphones are recommended.
