This Comica CVM WS60 Combo Wireless Lavalier Microphone system is designed to work with Smartphones, Cameras, and Audio Recorders to name a few. I have tested it with a Samsung Galaxy S7, an iPhone 6, a Canon EOS 650D, and a Zoom H1 Recorder.
Pros:
Easy to set up
Easy to use out of the box with default preset
Takes standard AAA batteries and can also be powered with included USB type C to Type A cable
Versatile compatibility with iPhones, Android Smartphones, DSLR/Mirrorless Cameras and Audio recorders
Audio and battery monitor on LCD
Great quality microphone
Included accessories like wind muff helpful to reduce wind noise
Great time saver and permanent setup solution.
Cons:
Price may be an issue for casual end users
No direct XLR connection
No adaptor for devices that do not feature the standard 3.5mm audio jack.
As for the initial question, yes I do believe that the versatility and quality of this wireless microphone will make it much easier to just press record and film. You will be able to get better audio on the go with all kinds of devices, record further distant footage, conduct interviews, and free your hands from wires, saving you time and money to upload more regular and consistent content. That is the number 1 key element to get more views and more subscribers and be successful here on YouTube.
