In this lab you will learn about creating and sending OSIsoft Message Format (OMF) messages. We will cover what OMF is and how it connects to OSIsoft’s products and services. We will also discuss what Node-RED is and get IoT data flowing into OMF; including, but not limited to IBM Watson as a data source. This lab requires knowledge of basic programming concepts.
