Grill calibration instructions.
Option 1:
To restore operation, do the following:
• Turn off and unplug the OptiGrill,
• Remove the bottom plate (near the juice tray),
• Find the small rectangular hole between the heating wires with the sensor inside. This is the correct position of the sensor. Simply make sure it moves by pushing it to the left.
If the sensor is stuck (not visible), carefully pull it back into its normal position with tweezers. Then, press the sensor 5-6 times to make sure it moves and won't get stuck again. Replace the plate and turn on the OptiGrill.
You can see the steps in the attached file. Second option:
• Plug in the OptiGrill, but don't turn it on;
• Press and hold the Burger + Fish + Manual buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds (the Red Meat button will flash 3 times);
• After the Red Meat button stops flashing, open the OptiGrill, place a small box (e.g. 105x60x26 mm) inside, and close the lid (the small box will serve as a spacer for the OptiGrill to calibrate its sensors);
• According to the latest information, the height of the calibration object should be exactly 4 cm.
• Press the Red Meat button to begin calibration (with the box inside). The Red Meat button will flash 3 more times. You can then remove the spacer and close the lid.
• Unplug the OptiGrill;
• Plug in the OptiGrill, but do not turn it on. Instead, press and hold the Burger + Poultry + Manual buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds until the OptiGrill beeps and displays a blue light. The Burger, Poultry, Panini, Fish, and Manual buttons will turn red and beep. This indicates you can open the lid, insert the box, and close the lid.
• After 3 seconds, the OptiGrill will display a green light and beep.
• After hearing the beep, open the lid. The light will turn red and you will hear the beep again.
• Remove the box and close the lid.
• Press the power button 3 times.
The light will cycle through the three cooking modes with each press.
Turn off the OptiGrill to apply the changes.
