On August 3, 2016, Emirates Flight 521 (EK521), a Boeing 777-31H (A6-EMW) flying from Trivandrum, India to Dubai, UAE, crashed on landing at Dubai International Airport. After the unsuccessful landing, the crew decided to go around, but the engines did not start to gain power, as they were in idle mode.
