In this video, I’m testing LTX-2.3’s new HDR workflow and seeing how it holds up in a real VFX pipeline.
Most AI video models output standard 8-bit SDR, which breaks down quickly in grading and compositing. LTX is one of the first to generate scene-linear EXR output, which means it can actually hold up in tools like Nuke and DaVinci Resolve.
In this video I walk through:
Converting SDR AI video to HDR EXR
Checking dynamic range in Nuke
Using LTX to generate HDR environment maps
Lighting a CG scene in Blender using the generated HDR
The goal here is simple: can AI-generated footage move beyond previs and actually function as production-ready data?
Let's find out!
