In this lesson: "Knitting. Checkerboard pattern," we'll knit a checkerboard pattern of knit and purl stitches. For the checkerboard pattern sample, cast on a multiple of 3 stitches (in this case, 21), plus 2 edge stitches. The checkerboard squares in this pattern are 3 stitches per 3 rows high.
