Early Learning Trail - A Rotary Foundation District Grant funded project
The Early Learning Trail is officially open! 🎉
On March 27 2025, we celebrated the grand opening of the Early Learning Trail near Short Pump Elementary — an interactive outdoor path designed to help young children build early literacy, numeracy, and motor skills through play.
A collaborative effort between the Rotary Club of Innsbrook, Rotary Club of Western Henrico, United Way of Greater Richmond & Petersburg, and Henrico County Parks & Rec — this trail brings learning to life for our youngest community members through play, movement, and joy. 🌟
The ribbon-cutting ceremony featured inspiring remarks from:

Students from Short Pump Elementary and LeafSpring School hopped, skipped, and smiled their way through the trail and enjoyed fun, hands-on learning activities all morning!
