I see so many people’s profiles where I can only see the “gray ghost” picture nowadays. I don’t think this is because they don’t have a picture, but because the picture is not visible. I highly recommend to my students that they make their profile picture visible to the public.
Think about it for a second folks...would you go to a networking meeting with a bag over your head? Well then if you are truly interested in connecting with others why would you not display your picture to everyone on LinkedIn?
